Power & Control is a song about relationships and how there’s always a power struggle. I feel, in the relationships that I’ve had, that one person or the other wants the upper hand.  And I find that interesting. How, in any relationship, really, it’s quite rough for both people to feel equal. And I guess that’s when it’s right, when both people don’t feel like one is the weak and one is the strong one.
